今日の「聴き比べ」はレッド・ツェッペリン (Led Zeppelin)の『All My Love』です。
この曲は１９７９年にリリースされた８枚目のアルバムとなるアルバム『In Through the Out Door』に収録された曲です。この翌年にジョン・ボーナム(John Bonham)が亡くなったため、実質上これが最後のアルバムとなりました。
この前年、ロバート・プラント(Robert Plant)の息子が感染症で亡くなり、彼は悲嘆にくれバンドは活動休止になりました。そして翌年、ジミー・ペイジ(Jimmy Page)はメンバーを集め、活動の再開を確認し合いました。
ロバート・プラントは亡くした息子を思いこの曲を作りました。アルバムは大ヒットしました。時代は既にパンク・ニューウェイヴの時代に入っていましたが、異例の売上げになりました。かつてのツェッペリンらしくないアルバムでしたが、結局これが最後のアルバムになりました。解散後に『最終楽章(CODA)』が発表され、このアルバムに収録されなかった楽曲たちが収録されました。

２００７年にはなんとヴァニラ・ファッジ(Vanilla Fudge)です。これまたツェッペリンへのトリビュートです。アルバム『Out Through the In Door』です。オリジナル・メンバーで再結成された時でした。
