聴き比べ サイモン&ガーファンクルの『早く家に帰りたい(Homeward Bound)』

今日の「聴き比べ」はサイモン&ガーファンクル(Simon & Garfunkel)の『早く家に帰りたい(Homeward Bound)』です。

彼らの曲も随分「聴き比べ」てきました。

この曲はポール・サイモン(Paul Simon)がＳ＆Ｇのファースト・アルバムが売れずに失意の末、イギリスに渡り、ロンドンで活動していた頃に作られた曲です。

作られたのは1965年でしたが、実際に発表されたのは１９６６年でした。シングル発売が先行し、後にサード・アルバム『パセリ・セージ・ローズマリー・アンド・タイム』（Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme）』に収録されました。多くの人にカバーされました。
