今日の「聴き比べ」はビートルズ(The Beatles)の『ヒア・カムズ・ザ・サン(Here Comes The Sun)』です。
もうビートルズの「聴き比べ」は打ち止めにしたはずでしたが、たまたまこの曲を聴いてしまったので掟破りです。
１９６９年のアルバム『アビイ・ロード(Abbey Road)』に収録された、ジョージ・ハリソン(George Harrison)の曲です。
この曲はジョージがレコード会社での打ち合わせをすっぽかして、エリック・クラプトンの自宅を訪れ、ギターを持って庭をブラブラしているときにメロディが浮かんできたと言っています。この光景はエリック・クラプトンの伝記映画『エリック・クラプトン 12小節の人生』に出てきたような気がします。クラプトンがジョージの奥さんとの恋に悩んでいる頃です。
ジョージのビートルズ時代の曲の中でもこの曲は特に有名です。本国では当時はシングルカットされませんでしたが、日本では発売されました。
