今日の「聴き比べ」はビージーズ(Bee Gees)の『マサチューセッツ(Massachusetts) 』です。
この曲も大ヒットしました。先日の『サムバディ・ラヴ』に続いてのヒットとなりました。同じ年の１９６７年です。
イギリスでも日本でもオーストラリア、その他多くの国で１位になりました。但し、アメリカでは１１位でした。
当時、小学生だったか中学生だったか忘れましたが「マサチューセッツってなんだ？」なんて思ったものでした。無知な子供でした。ビージーズの連中はこの時マサチューセッツ州には行ったことが無かったと言いますから驚きです。
