１９６９年の大ヒット曲です。シングル発売され、翌年の最後のアルバム『レット・イット・ビー(Let It Be)』に別バージョンで収録されました。この時のアレンジはあの狂人フィル・スペクター(Phill Spector)でした。
クレジットはレノン＝マッカートニーとなっていますがポール・マッカートニーの楽曲です。ビリー・プレストン(Billy Preston)がピアノで参加しています。
