１９７０年、ビルボード１位を飾り、ブレッドの名を知らしめた大ヒットナンバーです。セカンドアルバム『On The Waters』に収録されました。
作詞・作曲はリーダーのデヴィッド・ゲイツ(David Gates)です。
ブレッドは１９６８年の結成で、今で言うソフトロック系のバンドでした。１９７３年に一旦解散しますが、その後１９７６年に再結成し、７８年に再び解散。
