今日の「この人の、この１枚」はオールマン・ブラザーズ・バンド(The Allman Brothers Band)の『Trouble No More: 50th Anniversary Collection』です。
オールマン・ブラザーズのベスト・アルバム５枚組です。
なにを今更ベスト盤なんか、と思ったのですが、５０周年記念の正規盤ということと、未発表音源が何曲か入っていること、そしてなかなか立派な装幀に、ついつい買ってしまいました。悪い癖です。
５枚組の割にはまずまずの値段でした。音質は申し分なし。そして何といってもデビューから解散までまんべんなくカバーされていることが魅力でした。
オールマンズのレコード、ＣＤはこれで何枚になったのやら。自分でも呆れます。
