今日の「聴き比べ」は引き続きジム・クロウチ(JIm Croce)の『タイム・イン・ア・ボトル(Time in a Bottle)』です。
この曲も１９７３年に全米１位になった曲です。ジムは正式なアルバムは３枚しかリリースしていません（自主製作盤と夫婦名義は除く）が、ヒット曲の数はかなりの数です。活動期間はほぼ２年間。実に濃密な２年間でしたが、ジムは疲れ切っていました。そして不運にも飛行機事故でこの世を去りました。事故直前に妻にあてた手紙には今回のツアーが終わったら活動を休止する旨が書いてありました。
