１９６８年にジャニス・ジョプリン(Janis Joplin)がビッグ・ブラザー＆ホールディング・カンパニー(Big Brother & The Holding Company)のアルバム『チープ・スリル(Cheap THrills)』でカバーしました。このジャニスの歌唱によってこの曲は大ヒットし認知されました。ジャニスの絶叫は心に刺さります。
