１９７１年のアルバム『スティッキー・フィンガーズ(Sticky Fingers)』のオープニングを飾った曲です。例のファスナーが付いたアルバムです。中のレコードはパンティーで包まれていました。驚きでした。
「ブラウン・シュガー」とは精製されていないヘロインのことだそうです。いかにもストーンズらしい曲です。
