今日の「聴き比べ」はビートルズ(The Beatles)の『カム・トゥゲザー(Come Together)』です。
ビートルズはもう止めたはずでしたが、またやってしまいました。この曲を何故か取り上げていませんでした。不覚です。
１９６９年の傑作『アビイ・ロード(Abbey Road)』のオープニングに収録された曲です。当時の深夜放送（番組名は忘れましたが）のオープニング・テーマにも使われていて聴き飽きるくらい聴きました。が、当時の私の英語読解力ではこの詞は理解不能でした。曲は名義は共作ですがジョン・レノンです。ヴォーカルもジョンです。
勿論全米ナンバー・ワンでした。
