『夢のカリフォルニア』は１９６５年、当時まだ夫婦だったジョンとミシェルのフィリップ夫妻によって書かれた作品です。
発表当時はさほどでもなかったようですが、じわじわと売れ出し、気が付けばビルボードの４位にまでなりました。
この曲を聴くと明るいカリフォルニアを思い浮かべることができます。
