今日の「聴き比べ」は『踊り明かそう(I Could Have Danced All Night)』です。
この曲は１９６４年のミュージカル映画『マイ・フェア・レディ』の主題歌です。と、最初は思っていたのですが、実際はミュージカル『マイ・フェア・レディ』の挿入歌でジュリー・アンドリュース(Julie Andrews)が歌ったのが初めだそうです。
私は当然映画版で知ったわけですが、映画で歌っていたのはオードリー・ヘプバーン(Audrey Hepburn)です。が、ミュージカルの大部分は吹き替えの女王マーニ・ニクソン（Marni Nixon)による吹き替えだったそうです。ただし、この曲にはオードリー・ヘプバーンの声も入っているとのことです。ミュージカルはあまり詳しくないので失礼します。ただのヘプバーン・ファンです。
